okay. i'm here to blog ! . hehhh . has been long since i blogged here uh ? . hmm .. this entry might seem to be an early leaving note from me to the band . so, i hope that it doesn't make you cry or anything as it is not my intention to do so . hehh . okay, here goes ..
to the sec 01s [ if there is ] : all i can say is continue striving hard to become better band members in terms of playing and footdrills . i've not really been interacting with you guys the most and i sincerely apologise for my 'dao-ness' . haha . hmm .. and don't be too childish okay? . and always remember to respect your seniors and conductors too . ahha . alritee ..
to the sec 02s : the same goes to the sec 02s .. work harder to improve the band alritee ? . contribute as much as you can to the band . i can see that some of you have the band's future at heart . and i know you guys care about the band . so, please put in the effort to keep the band's standard up :)
to the sec 03s : as you guys have observed , there were changes here and there during band practices and slight changes in the blog itself ; like the new song player and all . we've been putting sec 03s on trial for the fall-in and stuffs alike . well, i have to say it's not too bad . but well, there are room for improvements yeah . what's important is your time management and of course, your work effiency . as future leaders of the band, time is important . do not keep others waiting for you to make decisions because they would not like it , seriously speaking . i know its quite tough to be handling something in which you guys know nothing about but that was the feeling we had last time too ; when the previous sec 04s passed down duties to us . so now, its your turn to learn about leadership and all . you might say that you are inexperienced in these areas . so, its time to develop your skills and maximise your potential ! . seriously speaking, i believe that each and everyone of you has the potential to bring the band to greater heights . its just that most of you have not realised your potential and maximised it yet . as to what huzaifah has said , ' All Of You Can Do It ' . i totally agree with him . and to emphasize on what was said in the previous post , confidence is important no matter what . yupp . so, i hope that all of you will be able to cooperate with each other in times to come . although it might not seem so easy at first but still , try to get used to it okay ? . speech day's coming soon and i'd really want this event to be a very meaningful one because it would be my last time with you guys . so, please give me your best yeah ..
to the sec 04s : it has been great working with you guys ; especially the committee members and all the section leaders . i certainly have learnt a lot from each and everyone of you . from all the conflicts that have arised , i'd like to take this opportunity to apologise to each and everyone of you if my words had been harsh and if i've offended you in anyway . just want you guys to know that these words were unintentional, alrite . i've totally enjoyed myself with your company ; band camps and other events that we took part in like SYF and Balloon Hat Festival . the time for us to step down from the band will be coming soon . and who knows, we might not even be interacting with each other as often as we did after we step down in preparation for Os . to those who will be taking part in the competition, good luck to you guys yeah . you can do it ! . ahha . i hope that the bond we've made in band stays on for as long as it can yeah .
i'd like to wish the band all the best for the coming competition in july . must make me proud alritee ? . because the competition is one day after my birthday ! . ahha . so, please give me a good present by doing your best . lol . work hard and achieve the best results . but please, have a balance between studies and band too . academics is important too . yupp .
the review of today's band practice : overall, i think that the practice was alright . i've observed that you guys have made improvements in terms of sound and tuning wise . do continue to keep up with the good work and of course, improve yourself in every other way you can :) . must have confidence ! . ahha .
okay . i shall stop here already . i think the results for the next commitee will be out soon . so, do keep a look out for announcements made . or maybe it'll be announced after speech day ? . ahha. i don't know . all the best to the future leaders ! . keep the band spirit alive yeah ! . alritee . take care .
